Charleston Mercury Broadside

Charleston Mercury Broadside - "The Union Is Dissolved!"

Minutes after the vote by the South Carolina Convention to leave the Union, this broadside was printed by the fire eater newspaper "The Charleston Mercury." I own the original that was recently purchased at auction and made copies for my children using a huge digital scanner and Gicler reproduction. I can not tell the original from the copy. Having bid on more than one broadside, this one is the best conditioned broadside ever sold at auction. No holes, no tears, no repairs. It is as perfect as possible.

You are buying a digital facsimile from my original print, digitally scanned at 600 dpi (dots per inch) on a German Cruse scanner, then color corrected to match the original using photoshop. The resulting file is printed on a large format professional quality inkjet printer (a print known as a "giclee") with indelible ink on 308 gram cotton rag paper.

Make history and display a significant historical event - "The Union Is Dissolved!"
